Responsibilities
- Design, code, and review multiple business-critical Java application modules.
- Lead application systems analysis, development, testing, implementation, and operational support.
- Conduct feasibility studies, time and cost estimates, IT planning, risk technology, and model development activities.
- Analyze complex application and business-process issues and recommend advanced programming solutions.
- Consult with users, clients, business stakeholders, and technology groups on application issues.
- Develop post-implementation security measures and help establish operating standards and procedures.
- Coach and mentor newer team members and serve as an advisor or subject-matter expert to lower-level analysts.
- Assess and escalate technology, compliance, control, and operational risks appropriately.
Requirements
- 5–8 years of relevant experience.
- Experience in systems analysis and programming of software applications.
- Experience managing and implementing successful projects.
- Working knowledge of consulting and project management techniques and methods.
- Bachelor’s or university degree, or equivalent experience.
- Ability to work under pressure and manage deadlines or unexpected changes in requirements.
- Knowledge of the wholesale lending landscape, particularly Collateral Management, is desired.
