Responsibilities

  • Lead Salesforce development activities across configuration, customization, Apex, Lightning Web Components, Flows, automation, integrations, and platform enhancements.
  • Design and deliver scalable, secure, maintainable, and high-performing Salesforce solutions across business processes.
  • Translate business requirements into technical designs, reusable components, integration patterns, and implementation approaches.
  • Mentor developers, conduct code reviews, provide design guidance and troubleshooting support, and enforce Salesforce development best practices.
  • Collaborate with architects, business analysts, QA teams, product owners, and stakeholders to estimate work, manage dependencies, support testing, and deliver releases.
  • Contribute to release planning, deployment validation, documentation, technical governance, and continuous improvement of Salesforce delivery processes.
  • Design, build, and deploy AI-driven Salesforce solutions using Agentforce, AI agents, automation, prompt engineering, and Salesforce platform services.
  • Support user acceptance testing, post-release support, technical risk management, and delivery quality.

Requirements

  • 6+ years of hands-on Salesforce development experience, including at least 2 years as a Lead Developer, Tech Lead, or in a similar technical leadership role.
  • Strong experience with Salesforce configuration, customization, automation, security, data models, integrations, scalable solution design, and development patterns.
  • Hands-on expertise with Apex, triggers, batch Apex, scheduled Apex, queueable Apex, SOQL, SOSL, Lightning Web Components, Visualforce, and Salesforce development patterns.
  • Experience with Flows, validation rules, approval processes, profiles, permission sets, roles, users, page layouts, record types, and dynamic forms.
  • Understanding of Salesforce objects, governor limits, transaction boundaries, code coverage, performance optimization, security models, sharing rules, and data visibility.
  • Experience with REST and SOAP APIs, middleware integrations, platform events, outbound messages, connected apps, authentication mechanisms, and integration error handling.
  • Experience with Visual Studio Code, Salesforce CLI, Data Loader, Workbench, Data Import Wizard, metadata deployment tools, Copado, Bitbucket, and Git.
  • Strong Lightning Web Components experience with JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and modern front-end development standards.
  • Good knowledge of Salesforce CPQ, including product configuration, pricing, quoting, customization, and integrations.
  • Knowledge of Salesforce Experience Cloud, including customer and partner portals, user access, branding, navigation, and portal-specific development.
  • Experience with Agile delivery, Scrum practices, DevOps processes, CI/CD, release governance, and JIRA.
  • Experience using AI-powered development tools across requirements analysis, code generation, testing, documentation, and productivity optimization while following security, compliance, data privacy, and responsible AI guidelines.
  • Knowledge of Salesforce Agentforce and AI capabilities, including AI agents, automation, prompt engineering, and Salesforce platform integrations.
  • Ability to lead Salesforce development teams, mentor developers, manage technical risks, collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders, and work independently.
  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, MCA, or a related discipline is preferred.
  • Salesforce certifications such as Platform Developer I/II, Administrator, Platform App Builder, Sales Cloud Consultant, Service Cloud Consultant, or CPQ Specialist are preferred.
  • Experience working in global, distributed, or cross-cultural teams and strong communication, analytical, troubleshooting, organizational, and stakeholder interaction skills are preferred.
