Applied AI ML Lead Engineer, VP - Asset and Wealth Management

- Drive adoption of enterprise-authorized AI-assisted engineering practices for coding, code review, testing, troubleshooting, and automation.
- Establish standards for validating AI-assisted work, including correctness, performance, secure coding, peer review, and automated testing.
- Promote reusable engineering patterns that improve consistency and reliability.
- Coach engineers on safe, compliant, and effective adoption of AI-assisted practices within delivery workflows.
- Build and support practical agentic tools and AI agents for engineering workflows in production environments.
- Communicate technical expectations and outcomes with senior engineers, stakeholders, and product partners.
Requirements
- Experience leading the effective use of approved AI-assisted software development tools.
- Ability to define expectations for validating AI outputs for correctness, performance, and security.
- Strong understanding of responsible AI practices, data sensitivity, secure input and output handling, resiliency, and security expectations.
- Experience coaching engineers on compliant AI-assisted delivery practices.
- Knowledge of financial-services technology systems.
- Proficiency in Python or an equivalent programming language.
- Experience with AWS or an equivalent cloud environment, including Terraform, EKS, and ECS.
- Strong knowledge of system and application design and familiarity with software development lifecycles and CI/CD pipelines.
- Experience with prompt engineering and retrieval-augmented-generation architecture.
- Preferred experience building production agentic tools and AI agents for engineering workflows.
- Airflow experience is preferred.
