Base Salary

$118k - $237k/yr

Responsibilities

  • Administer and implement vulnerability management and Minimum Security Baseline programs.
  • Design, implement, maintain, and monitor security measures for AWS, Azure, GCP, and OpenShift environments.
  • Develop and enforce cloud security policies, procedures, controls, and regulatory compliance requirements.
  • Manage cloud security monitoring, incident response, vulnerability remediation, and security process automation.
  • Implement database access controls, encryption, authentication, audits, risk assessments, and compliance initiatives.
  • Administer and secure OpenShift and Kubernetes clusters, including deployment, upgrades, lifecycle management, RBAC, compliance controls, image scanning, and registry management.
  • Lead vulnerability scans, risk assessments, remediation tracking, reporting, and cross-functional prioritization.
  • Mentor team members and communicate security issues, risks, and recommendations to stakeholders and management.

Requirements

  • At least 7 years of experience in cloud security, database security, or related security roles.
  • At least 5 years of experience with AWS, Azure, GCP, and database technologies.
  • At least 5 years of experience with scripting and automation using Python, PowerShell, Bash, Terraform, or Ansible.
  • At least 3 years of experience with vulnerability scanning tools and security assessment techniques, including tools such as Wiz, Qualys, or Tenable.
  • At least 2 years of hands-on OpenShift or Kubernetes administration and security experience.
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience, with a high school diploma and 4 years of relevant experience accepted as an alternative.
  • Knowledge of GDPR, HIPAA, PCI-DSS, NIST, or ISO 27001 is preferred.
  • Experience with IBM Guardium, SIEM integration, DevOps practices, and CI/CD security integration is preferred.
  • CISSP, CCSP, AWS or Azure Security, and Red Hat OpenShift Security certifications are preferred.
