Responsibilities
- Design and develop enterprise cryptography, PKI, and certificate-management systems.
- Define cryptographic standards, architectures, governance, and enterprise security solutions.
- Develop automated certificate deployment and renewal across devices, applications, operating systems, servers, and network security appliances.
- Design PKI architectures and certificate lifecycle automation for mission-critical systems.
- Integrate PKI and certificate-management technologies with Citi platforms.
- Evaluate, test, and certify PKI and cryptographic technologies.
- Ensure security products meet Citi’s internal and regulatory requirements.
- Provide occasional fourth-level support for the security product toolset.
- Document product processes and procedures and follow the Technology Development Life Cycle.
Requirements
- 8+ years of relevant experience.
- Strong experience with cryptography, cryptographic protocols, algorithms, and related technologies.
- Understanding of information security concepts, best practices, security engineering principles, and enterprise security controls.
- Strong engineering background with database knowledge, preferably Microsoft SQL Server, and scripting experience, preferably PowerShell.
- Experience with commercial Certificate Authority products or certificate-management systems is preferred.
- Understanding of Microsoft Windows and Unix operating systems.
- Understanding of symmetric-key and asymmetric-key encryption.
- Experience with HSM platforms and working with trust providers is preferred.
- Bachelor’s or university degree or equivalent experience; a master’s degree is preferred.
- Information security certification is relevant to the role.
