Base Salary
$180k - $440k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design, build, and launch features that unify common components across storage systems.
- Investigate performance issues and deliver solutions meeting customer latency, availability, and data durability requirements.
- Lead incident response and recovery and contribute to incident postmortems.
- Mentor peers and contribute to code and design reviews.
- Develop new skills and make data-driven decisions in evolving technology spaces.
Requirements
- At least 7 years of software development experience, including 2 or more years building storage systems or databases.
- Proficiency in high-performance C++, Rust, or JVM-based languages.
- Expertise building, running, and operating scalable and resilient distributed systems.
- Strong focus on reliability, performance, and quality.
