Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and deliver scalable Workforce Management applications for contact center operations.
  • Build backend services with Java and Spring Boot and responsive component-based interfaces with React.
  • Design and develop APIs and distributed, event-driven systems.
  • Contribute to architectural decisions, design discussions, code reviews, technical strategy, and engineering best practices.
  • Collaborate with product owners, architects, and cross-functional engineering teams.
  • Mentor junior developers and contribute to automated testing, observability, CI/CD, and secure engineering practices.
  • Operate services with full lifecycle ownership in a resilient, scalable contact center technology environment.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of software development experience focused on full-stack engineering.
  • Strong proficiency in Java and Spring Boot and proficiency with React or modern JavaScript frameworks.
  • Experience with API design and development, distributed systems, and event-driven architecture patterns.
  • Strong understanding of software engineering fundamentals, secure engineering practices, and RDBMS or NoSQL databases.
  • Experience with AI-assisted development tools such as GitHub Copilot, Claude Code, or OpenAI Codex.
  • Ability to contribute to design discussions, perform code reviews, mentor junior developers, solve problems independently, and collaborate across teams.
  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, or equivalent experience.
  • Preferred: experience with Apache Kafka or similar streaming platforms, Workforce Management, SIP, WebRTC, CTI protocols, test automation frameworks, WCAG, responsive design, service ownership, and AWS, Azure, or GCP.
