Responsibilities
- Contribute to customer implementations across assessment, planning, architecture, development, integration, release configuration, testing, operations, optimization, and best-practices adoption.
- Deliver classroom-based training for architects, developers, and operations personnel.
- Collaborate with consulting engineers, project managers, and account teams as part of the wider delivery organization.
- Build a reputation as a trusted MongoDB advisor and guide customers through successful MongoDB adoption.
- Partner with Product and Engineering teams to influence the MongoDB product roadmap.
- Communicate complex technical proposals and product-roadmap information clearly to diverse audiences.
- Maintain the required level of billable utilization and continuously improve personal, product, and team effectiveness.
Requirements
- 10+ years of software development, consulting, or support experience, preferably across multiple industries or verticals.
- Competence in at least one of Java, C#, Python, Node.js, JavaScript, Ruby, or Go.
- Experience with databases such as MongoDB, Oracle, Microsoft SQL Server, or PostgreSQL.
- Familiarity with Linux diagnostics and tuning; Windows tuning knowledge is a plus.
- Familiarity with enterprise-scale software architectures, application development methodologies, and software deployment and operations.
- Strong analytical, diagnostic, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to combine deep technical work with customer-management responsibilities and confidently present in collaborative customer settings.
- Comfort with frequent short trips to customer sites, up to 15%.
- Fluency in both Italian and English.
