Responsibilities
- Contribute to customer implementations across application assessment, planning, design, deployment architecture, development, integration, testing, operations, optimization, and best-practice adoption.
- Deliver classroom-based training for architects, developers, and operations professionals.
- Collaborate with consulting engineers, project managers, and account teams on customer delivery.
- Build a reputation as a trusted MongoDB advisor and guide customer adoption and success.
- Communicate complex technical proposals and product roadmaps clearly to diverse customer audiences.
- Maintain required billable utilization and contribute field experience to MongoDB product development and roadmap direction.
Requirements
- At least 10 years of software development, consulting, or support experience, preferably across multiple industries or verticals.
- Competence in at least one of Java, C#, Python, Node.js/JavaScript, Ruby, or Go.
- Experience with databases such as MongoDB, Oracle, MS SQL Server, or PostgreSQL.
- Familiarity with Linux diagnostics and tuning; Windows tuning knowledge is a plus.
- Familiarity with enterprise-scale software architectures, application development methodologies, and software deployment and operations.
- Strong analytical, diagnostic, problem-solving, communication, presentation, and customer-management abilities.
- Comfort with frequent short trips to customer sites during the working week, up to 15%.
- Fluency in both Italian and English.
