Base Salary

$105k - $150k/yr

Responsibilities

  • Lead high-priority technical engagements with important customers and cross-functional Docker teams.
  • Gather customer technical and business goals related to container and AI journeys and create engagement plans.
  • Oversee rapid prototyping with Docker engineering and customer teams to validate customer-product fit.
  • Create, manage, and deliver custom demos and content aligned with customer use cases.
  • Deliver technical enablement and best-practice content to audiences ranging from developers to C-level stakeholders.
  • Serve as a regional technical thought leader and coordinate field feedback for product and engineering prioritization.
  • Work with product and engineering teams on workflow and feature alignment based on customer use cases and revenue impact.
  • Act as customer zero for new Docker functionality and review internal and customer enablement content.
  • Support sales enablement for new Docker products and services.
  • Partner with Account Executives, Post Sales, Product, Field CTO, and other Solutions Architects.

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a Sales Engineer, Solutions Engineer, or Solutions Architect in complex enterprise environments.
  • Experience managing customer relationships at both technical and business levels.
  • Experience presenting solutions and demonstrations to small and large audiences, virtually and in person.
  • Experience working with technical support, product, and engineering teams to improve documentation, enablement, and product features.
  • Experience developing application code and understanding developers’ day-to-day challenges.
  • Ability to solve technical problems and translate customer experience into actionable engineering feedback.
  • Experience developing customer collateral and best-practice adoption materials.
  • Solid understanding of AWS, Azure, GCP, containers, DevOps, and modern application architectures.
  • Experience with Docker, container ecosystems, or adjacent technologies is strongly preferred.
  • Development, agentic AI development, software development lifecycle, and/or software supply chain security experience is strongly preferred.
  • Fluency in English is required.
  • Willingness to travel internationally up to 50%.
