Responsibilities
- Explore client needs and drive the building of a technical roadmap.
- Advocate for Infrastructure-as-Code best practices and good software delivery practices.
- Ensure and build controls for continuous delivery and evolution of infrastructure.
- Monitor and ensure technical expectations of deliverables are met.
- Provide expertise in DevOps, cloud, platform, and infrastructure engineering.
- Establish partnerships with client leadership across engineering and commercial functions.
- Lead the design and implementation of innovative solutions.
- Engage in pre-sales, lead generation, and proposal creation.
- Consult with clients' C-level executives to achieve business goals.
Requirements
- Lead the design of enterprise and web-scale hosting platforms.
- Deep understanding of cloud and virtualization platforms.
- Expertise in setting up complex cloud infrastructure as code projects.
- Experience with software delivery teams and DevOps philosophies.
- Ability to write scripts using at least one scripting language.
- Experience with continuous integration and delivery tools.
- Familiarity with monitoring systems for availability and performance.
- Understanding of security concerns and approaches.
- Bonus points for experience with unit testing and automated testing tools.
