$225k - $250k/yr
Responsibilities
- Lead development of new features in the Django monolith.
- Optimize database queries, endpoints, and caching layers.
- Collaborate with product and design teams for intuitive user experiences.
- Make architectural decisions regarding system extensions and service extraction.
- Set high standards for engineering excellence through mentorship and code reviews.
Requirements
- 8+ years of experience building backend applications at high scale.
- Extensive experience with Python.
- Ability to optimize endpoint performance and database queries.
- Strong advocate for automated testing.
- Experience implementing engineering best practices.
