Agentic AI Engineer , AVP
State StreetResponsibilities
- Lead the architecture and optimization of multi-agent workflows across platforms using agent frameworks such as LangChain, Langraph, and Google ADK.
- Establish runtime, SRE/DevOps, reliability, A2A protocol, and connector sandbox-isolation standards for agentic systems.
- Translate platform roadmaps into runtime capabilities and optimize multi-cloud agentic stack deployments across AWS, Google Cloud, and Azure.
- Lead technical hiring, coaching, and development for Officers and Senior Associates.
- Direct incident response and post-incident reviews for critical runtime issues across cloud platforms.
- Oversee documentation, compliance, and performance reviews for enterprise agentic systems.
- Drive adoption of emerging technologies and cloud-native services in AI system engineering.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- 8–14 years of progressive software engineering experience focused on agentic AI, distributed systems, or orchestration platforms.
- Proficiency in Python and familiarity with at least one additional modern programming language such as Java, Go, or C++.
- Demonstrated leadership architecting and implementing complex agentic or event-driven systems across AWS, Google Cloud, and Azure.
- Deep expertise in A2A protocols, runtime environments, and cloud-native DevOps practices.
- Experience establishing technical standards, overseeing compliance, and driving adoption of emerging technologies.
- Proven technical mentorship, incident response leadership, and cross-functional collaboration experience.
- Familiarity with enterprise security, IAM/RBAC, and sandboxing in cloud environments.
