Responsibilities
- Architect, develop, and deploy AI/ML and GenAI solutions for digital and analog chip-design workflows across Renesas’s portfolio.
- Own portions of the overall CAD solution and engage worldwide with internal and external customers.
- Develop and debug AI/ML technologies and EDA tools for digital and analog designs.
- Collaborate with customers on feature engineering, model development, and demonstrations of PPA and productivity improvements.
- Apply mature software-development practices and programming languages for AI/ML development.
- Coordinate with offshore and outsourcing partners and manage vendor escalations.
- Work with global teams in a dynamic design environment.
Requirements
- BTech or MTech in Electrical/Electronic Engineering, Computer Engineering, or Computer Science.
- 15+ years of experience in AI/ML software or model development and collaboration with design, EDA, or CAD teams.
- Proven experience developing AI agents, agentic AI, GenAI, and ML solutions.
- Strong Tcl, Perl, and Python programming and scripting skills for model and agentic-AI tool development.
- Good understanding of digital implementation and signoff methodologies for MCU and HPC designs.
- Strong communication, problem-solving, teamwork, attention to detail, task commitment, and quality focus.
- Ability to propose innovative solutions and coordinate work across highly experienced global teams.
