Responsibilities

Own end-to-end development of video insights use cases from requirements analysis through production deployment.
Design and implement pipelines integrating video AI models with core platform services and data infrastructure.
Build scalable distributed systems for processing large volumes of video content on cloud platforms.
Collaborate with research scientists, data engineers, and product managers on use cases and success metrics.
Build evaluation frameworks and dashboards tracking feature performance, user satisfaction, and business impact.
Optimize video processing workflows for performance, cost, latency, and quality.
Mentor junior engineers and contribute to documentation and technical knowledge sharing.
Monitor, profile, and iteratively optimize deployed features.

Expert-level proficiency in at least one of Python, Java, or C++ and strong software engineering fundamentals.
Hands-on experience building and deploying end-to-end machine learning pipelines in production.
Understanding of video processing technologies, codecs, containers, and streaming protocols including HLS and DASH.
Experience with large-scale distributed systems, big data platforms such as Spark and Hadoop, and cloud infrastructure including AWS, GCP, or Azure.
Strong foundation in software architecture, system design, and scalable maintainable systems.
Proficiency with data engineering tools and frameworks such as Apache Spark, Kafka, or Airflow.
Understanding of machine learning fundamentals including model evaluation, feature engineering, and debugging ML systems.
Experience processing video or image data at scale.
Strong problem-solving, ownership, communication, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science or a related field and 4–6 years of backend development experience.
