Responsibilities
- Develop, deploy, and support CAD and EDA solutions for backend digital designs across Renesas’s portfolio.
- Own part of the overall CAD solution and engage globally with internal customers.
- Develop and debug AI/ML technologies, models, and agentic AI tools for digital design workflows.
- Engage customers on feature engineering, model development, and demonstrations of PPA and productivity improvements.
- Use mature software development practices and programming languages for AI/ML development tasks.
- Coordinate work across global teams, offshore or outsourcing partners, and EDA vendors, including vendor escalation management.
Requirements
- BTech or MTech in Electrical/Electronic Engineering, Computer Engineering, or Computer Science.
- 15+ years of experience in AI/ML software or model development and collaboration with design, EDA, or CAD teams.
- Proven experience developing AI agents, agentic AI, GenAI, and ML solutions.
- Strong Tcl, Perl, and Python programming and scripting skills for AI/ML tool development on RTL-to-GDS digital design flows.
- Understanding of digital implementation and signoff methodologies for MCU and HPC designs.
- Strong communication, problem-solving, teamwork, attention to detail, and quality focus.
- Ability to propose innovative solutions and coordinate work across experienced global teams.
