Base Salary

$193k - $262k/yr

Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain backend software and operational capabilities for a new AWS service.
  • Own and deliver key features for an interactive ML application.
  • Architect and develop technical designs with fellow engineers.
  • Collaborate with UX designers and product managers to create user-friendly experiences.
  • Work with AWS engineers and partner teams on cross-service features and interface contracts.
  • Engage with customers and AWS partners.
  • Provide technical leadership, mentorship, design feedback, and architecture guidance.

Requirements

  • At least 5 years of non-internship professional software development experience.
  • At least 5 years of programming experience with at least one software programming language.
  • At least 5 years of leading design or architecture for new and existing systems, including design patterns, reliability, and scaling.
  • Experience as a mentor, tech lead, or engineering team leader.
  • Preferred: at least 5 years of full software development lifecycle experience, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations.
  • Preferred: bachelor’s degree in computer science or equivalent.

  • Base salary range of $193,300.00–$261,500.00 USD annually, plus sign-on payments and restricted stock units.
