Responsibilities

Build backend components and domain microservices supporting interactive and near-real-time customer experiences.
Design and deliver REST and GraphQL APIs and event-driven integrations.
Engineer asynchronous workflows and event consumers and producers for distributed systems.
Design and optimize service-owned data stores and support data migration from legacy monolithic platforms.
Perform unit testing, integration testing, performance tuning, code review, and other engineering-quality activities.
Monitor live services, resolve incidents, and improve observability, security, stability, and production performance.

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related discipline, or equivalent professional experience.
5 to 9 years of experience developing backend applications and microservices using Java and Spring Boot.
Experience or knowledge involving generative AI development and integration through microservices and APIs.
Experience with Scala, Java/Spring Boot, .NET, or Python.
Knowledge of SQL, NoSQL, Cassandra, HBase, Spark, or Yarn.
Experience with Docker and Git.
Kubernetes, big data technologies such as Spark and Hadoop, event streaming, and cloud-native development are preferred.
