Responsibilities
- Lead and own the architecture and delivery of technical components for complex projects.
- Design and build the AI layer powering autonomous detection, RAG-backed investigation, and auto-remediation workflows.
- Develop and productionize large-scale LLMs, graph-based reasoning engines, and streaming feature pipelines operating on billions of security events.
- Own AI evaluation and reliability, including prompt libraries, fine-tuning, red-team testing, latency budgets, and fallback strategies.
- Lead cross-functional initiatives with Product, Detection Engineering, and Customer Success to translate attacker behavior into ML and rule-based detections.
- Experiment with retrieval-augmented generation, tool-calling agents, and multimodal models using text, logs, and graphs.
- Mentor junior engineers and contribute to engineering best practices and architectural design reviews.
Requirements
- 7+ years of software development experience building production systems with Python, Go, Rust, or Java.
- Deep knowledge of agentic systems, including centralized or decentralized multi-agent system architectures.
- Experience with graph structures and graph databases.
- Hands-on experience building agents, orchestration frameworks, and evaluation harnesses.
- Deep understanding of microservices architecture, Docker, Kubernetes, and event-driven systems.
- Strong API design fundamentals, including REST and gRPC, and distributed-systems knowledge.
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Cybersecurity experience with SIEM, EDR, SOAR, or MDR is preferred.
- Experience driving high-impact engineering initiatives in high-growth startups or enterprise SaaS is preferred.
- Familiarity with AWS, GCP, or Azure cloud infrastructure security is preferred.
- AWS or GCP Professional Engineer, Kubernetes, or security-related certifications are preferred.
