General Dynamics Mission SystemsResponsibilities
- Develop software for ARM processors and microprocessors.
- Build and support communications capabilities for military vehicles and command posts.
- Work on intercom and networking products.
- Retrofit tanks and armored vehicles with communications equipment.
- Collaborate with the TacCIS Solutions team on embedded and software development projects.
- Work in a hybrid environment split between home and an electronics laboratory.
Requirements
- Currently enrolled in a bachelor's degree program in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or Computer Engineering.
- Must be enrolled at a recognized Canadian post-secondary institution and eligible for a co-op work term during the specified period.
- Experience with embedded development using C or C++.
- Experience with software development using C#.
- Experience with web development using JavaScript, TypeScript, React, or Node.js.
- Experience with Git, Linux and/or Windows development, and VS Code.
- Familiarity with AI/ML models.
- Must be eligible to work in Canada and meet applicable security assessment and Canadian government security clearance requirements.
