Responsibilities
- Build and scale cloud systems for Skydio’s autonomous drone platform.
- Improve scalability, deployment, cloud infrastructure, and CI/CD systems in cloud and air-gapped environments.
- Enhance telemetry, observability, and developer productivity.
- Develop feature-flag and customer rollout systems, profile and optimize backend workloads, create vehicle-state testing frameworks, and package cloud offerings for air-gapped or edge environments.
Requirements
- Demonstrate solid computer science fundamentals.
- Have meaningful project or internship experience developing complex web applications or backend data systems.
- Be proficient with one or more of C, C++, Python, Golang, JavaScript, or TypeScript.
- Be familiar with Linux operating system configuration, build tools, relational databases such as Postgres or MySQL, and caching systems such as Redis or Memcached.
- Understand cloud service offerings, deployment techniques, and configuration management.
