Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain automated test frameworks and suites for an eCommerce platform.
- Collaborate with software engineers, product managers, and stakeholders to understand requirements and ensure comprehensive test coverage.
- Define test approaches, create and execute test plans and cases, and improve system testability.
- Build automation tools to reduce regression test cycles and explore the use of ML and AI in automation.
- Debug complex technical issues, identify workflow inefficiencies, and propose process improvements.
- Provide testing status and quality metrics throughout testing phases and compile quality outcome summaries.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a similar field, or equivalent related work experience.
- At least 5 years of hands-on quality engineering automation experience.
- Strong programming experience in Java, JavaScript, or Python, including the ability to build reusable test frameworks.
- Deep understanding of test design methodologies, large-scale test automation, software development lifecycles, testing methodologies, and QA processes.
- Experience with test frameworks and tools such as Playwright, JUnit, TestNG, or Selenium.
- Understanding of software build tools and CI/CD integrations.
- Experience with testing AI/ML applications and security testing is preferred.
