Responsibilities
- Build generative AI products and evolve the production agent stack.
- Scale the MCP Gateway and its tool ecosystem.
- Secure AI agents end-to-end, including identity, authentication, authorization, and delegated actions.
- Own BigBrain Identity and enforce per-user permissions for sensitive data access.
- Design and operate cloud-native production systems and keep them healthy.
- Lead technical initiatives, set technical direction, and mentor team members.
Requirements
- 6+ years of backend or full-stack engineering experience owning cloud-native production systems at scale.
- Hands-on experience with LLMs and agents, including agent frameworks, tool calling, prompt and context engineering, evaluations, and LLM observability.
- Strong system design experience building APIs, SDKs, and platforms consumed by multiple teams without breaking existing users.
- Strong authentication and authorization knowledge, including OAuth2/OIDC, JWT, service-to-service security, and least privilege.
- Experience taking ambiguous problems from idea through production and maintaining the resulting systems.
- Experience leading technical initiatives or mentoring, along with strong communication and collaboration skills.
- Heavy daily use of AI coding tools such as Claude Code or Cursor.
- Preferred experience with MCP servers or gateways, OAuth for MCP, tool governance, OPA/Rego, SCIM, RBAC/ABAC, identity governance, sandboxed code execution, agent identity and delegation, approvals, audit trails, Snowflake, Satori, Kafka/CDC, and internal platforms or SDKs.
