Responsibilities
- Design and build novel privacy features and infrastructure.
- Ship product features for authentication, encryption, and storage.
- Build core abstractions for end-to-end encryption, storage, sync, and recovery.
- Maintain infrastructure for hardware security modules (HSMs).
- Integrate with private inference and computing infrastructure.
- Operate systems at scale with high reliability, including on-call rotation.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams across various domains.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in professional software engineering.
- Experience designing end-to-end encryption protocols.
- Experience building intuitive authentication experiences.
- Experience building and scaling HSM infrastructure under strict security requirements.
- Strong focus on user privacy and security.
- Ability to collaborate and drive alignment in complex situations.
- Comfortable with ambiguity and rapid change.
