Base Salary
$69k - $131k/yr
Responsibilities
- Develop, integrate, test, debug, and maintain embedded software for aircraft battle management and avionics applications.
- Support software lifecycle activities from requirements and design through development, integration, testing, and maintenance.
- Solve complex technical system and software integration problems in collaboration with software and systems engineers.
- Develop software drivers and interfaces for computer hardware and data protocols.
- Use debugging, optimization, timing analysis, and configuration management tools to ensure software integrity and real-time performance.
Requirements
- Master’s degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics, or at least two years of relevant experience.
- At least two years of relevant professional or educational experience developing and implementing software for mission-critical applications.
- Experience developing and testing software using C, C++, C#, Java, or closely related languages in a Windows environment.
- Working knowledge of Shell, Perl, or Python scripting and software systems design, integration, and management.
- Strong analytical skills and ability to work daily in a multidisciplinary team.
- U.S. citizenship and eligibility to obtain a U.S. government security clearance; an active Secret clearance is required after day one.
- Preferred experience includes RTOS platforms, Unix/Linux, embedded avionics and displays, software drivers, hardware interfaces, TCP/IP, UDP, RS-422, USB, PCI, 1553, Git, Azure DevOps, parallel programming, and DO-178C DAL C.
