Base Salary
$85k - $97k/yr
Responsibilities
- Provision and manage public cloud infrastructure, compute resources, IAM roles, subscriptions, VPCs, private networks, routes, and security rules.
- Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines for DevSecOps functions and deploy applications across cloud environments.
- Create and maintain Dockerfiles, manifest files, and Helm charts for different environments and orchestrators.
- Install, configure, maintain, engineer, and size mission-critical applications.
- Operate and monitor distributed systems at scale, including logging, alerting, instrumentation, availability, and reliability services.
- Provide production support through incident management, root cause analysis, real-time monitoring, and cloud troubleshooting.
Requirements
- Hands-on experience with one or more of Python, Java, Go, or JavaScript.
- Solid experience with public cloud platforms and cloud infrastructure development, preferably with AWS or Azure certifications.
- Experience provisioning cloud compute resources, managing IAM roles and subscriptions, and building cloud networks and routes.
- Experience with infrastructure as code tools such as CloudFormation, Terraform, ARM, or IAM.
- Experience with monitoring tools such as Datadog, Prometheus, or Splunk.
- Experience building CI/CD pipelines and using deployment tools such as UDeploy, Starling, or Mario.
- Hands-on Kubernetes and Docker experience, with knowledge of PaaS platforms such as Cloud Foundry, Kubernetes, OpenShift, or Rancher highly desired.
- Experience with Azure application deployment processes and Azure Active Directory.
- Expertise supporting production systems, including incident management, root cause analysis, monitoring, high availability, and reliability.
- Strong analytical, technical, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to learn and experiment with new technologies and patterns.
