Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with technology, product management, operations, quality engineering, product owners, clients, vendors, and IT teams to design and implement automation and process-improvement solutions.
  • Design and develop functional features, systems, applications, and APIs, including integrations with existing software platforms and data sources.
  • Analyze complex technical and business requirements, define system requirements, develop use cases, and propose solution options.
  • Participate in business and technical meetings, gather and refine requirements, facilitate discussions, and drive consensus with business owners.
  • Support all aspects of the SDLC using Agile, Scrum, and waterfall approaches, including story development, estimation, planning, deployment, and ongoing support.
  • Conduct code reviews, maintain code coverage, resolve application vulnerabilities, and follow enterprise security standards.
  • Create and execute test plans, collaborate with quality engineering teams, and support unit testing and test automation.
  • Manage project phases, resource requirements, testing strategies, cost-benefit analyses, progress updates, and implementation activities.
  • Review existing procedures and processes to identify automation and process-improvement opportunities.
  • Provide solution consulting and architectural guidance to help business stakeholders select appropriate solutions.

Requirements

  • Senior Consultant Automation Developer experience with specialized project knowledge, consulting skills, analytical ability, and the capacity to work with clients, vendors, and IT teams.
  • 10–12+ years of industry experience with MS Power Tools, SQL, and Python.
  • 10–12 years of relevant work experience in financial services and information technology is preferred.
  • Experience working with Selenium web tools and strong practical understanding of APIs.
  • Strong understanding of relational database concepts and hands-on experience writing SQL queries.
  • Experience with Azure ADO, GitHub, GitHub Actions, and Confluence for continuous integration and collaboration.
  • Experience with unit testing, test automation tools and frameworks, and Azure Boards.
  • Experience writing stories and working with Agile and Scrum frameworks, including creating and executing test plans in Azure Boards.
  • Experience with Domain Driven Design Development and all aspects of the SDLC.
  • Strong communication, teamwork, interpersonal, analytical, and technical information evaluation skills.
  • Exposure to Document Management or Workflow software is a plus.
