Responsibilities
- Build and ship reliable, secure, and scalable backend systems.
- Own implementations from design through deployment, emphasizing maintainability and performance.
- Participate in architectural discussions, technical scoping, estimation, code reviews, and design discussions.
- Refactor legacy code while maintaining feature continuity.
- Handle incident response, root cause analysis, observability improvements, and production readiness.
- Write clear, testable, and documented code and improve engineering practices and developer experience.
- Collaborate with product managers, designers, and engineers to align objectives and deliverables.
Requirements
- 6+ years of professional software engineering experience.
- 2+ years of hands-on production experience with Go (Golang).
- Strong experience with PostgreSQL and/or MySQL.
- Proficiency with Docker, Kubernetes, and Helm.
- Familiarity with RabbitMQ or Kafka.
- Comfort using Git and CI/CD tooling in collaborative workflows.
- Working knowledge of frontend technologies, especially React and/or Next.js.
- Basic understanding of cloud platforms, with GCP preferred.
- Nice-to-have experience with Login-as-a-Service platforms, OAuth2, OIDC, SAML, JWT, social login, SSO, federated identity, multi-tenant identity systems, APIs, SDKs, and integration documentation.
- Strong English communication skills for technical and non-technical topics.
