Responsibilities
- Develop and integrate O-RAN-based RU management-plane software with internal RU components.
- Integrate RU software with DU, SMO, and other network-management components.
- Design and implement applications for configuring, updating, and monitoring hardware systems.
- Maintain and automate CI/CD pipelines for builds, testing, and deployments.
- Support production and laboratory environments and maintain existing production applications and networks.
- Collaborate with programmable-logic teams and NTN RAN vendor teams on embedded-system features and configurations.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science or equivalent.
- 3–5 years of experience working with O-RAN and 3GPP technology.
- Experience developing and integrating O-RAN-based RU C/U/S/M-plane software.
- Strong understanding of O-RAN fronthaul and M-plane specifications.
- Experience with network programming and embedded environments.
- Proficiency with NetConf, YANG, and JSON.
- Experience integrating multi-vendor software, including open-source software.
- Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, Golang, Python, GitHub Actions, and Jenkins.
- Understanding of multithreading and operating-system concepts, plus strong debugging and troubleshooting skills.
- Practical CI/CD and DevOps experience is preferred.
