Responsibilities

  • Own correlation, deduplication, lifecycle logic, thresholds, grouping rules, and severity scoring that convert detector signals into customer-facing insights.
  • Build and improve fleet-level anomaly-detection pipelines, signal calibration processes, and feedback loops that reduce false positives and expand coverage.
  • Integrate ML/RL outputs and agentic intelligence into customer alerting and actionable operational insights.
  • Ship end-to-end customer-facing features including alert rule engines, control-plane APIs, action workflows, and insight-delivery surfaces.
  • Build new systems from scratch and scale existing services for Crusoe’s growing global fleet.
  • Lead system-design discussions, evaluate technical trade-offs, and collaborate with product teams on early requirements.
  • Mentor engineers through code reviews, design feedback, and coaching, and help define hiring standards.

  • Deep experience building anomaly-detection systems, heuristic rule engines, or ML/RL systems for infrastructure or data-intensive domains.
  • Proven ability to manage precision/recall trade-offs and build continuous feedback loops for detection accuracy.
  • Strong distributed-systems fundamentals and experience building reliable, scalable backend systems and leading complex architectural discussions.
  • Expertise with time-series data, telemetry pipelines, and observability primitives.
  • Ability to communicate complex logic and trade-offs to technical and non-technical partners and provide technical mentorship.
  • Preferred experience with GPU profiling tools such as Nsight or NCCL Inspector, hardware-level infrastructure diagnostics, observability products, production agentic applications, reinforcement learning for operational problems, large-scale fleet management, or cloud infrastructure.
