Responsibilities
- Design and develop reliable, scalable, extensible, maintainable, global, and operable products and platforms.
- Draft and review design diagrams, interface specifications, class structures, and other design documents.
- Build systems that balance resources, constraints, requirements, and complexity.
- Evangelize technologies, solutions, and engineering best practices.
- Collaborate with product management and development teams and participate in an engineering knowledge-sharing network.
- Solve complex engineering problems involving web applications and platforms.
Requirements
- 7+ years of software development experience.
- Primary expertise in JavaScript and React.
- Expertise in software development principles, design patterns, code structure, programming languages, continuous integration, and deployments.
- Expertise designing and implementing Single Page Applications and Rich Internet Applications.
- Strong command of AJAX, HTML5, CSS3, object-oriented JavaScript, browser-side technologies, and advanced browser optimization.
- Expertise with React, MobX, jQuery, AngularJS, and Node.js.
- Expertise with Apache, HTTP, SOAP, JSON, XML, and RESTful APIs.
- Proficiency with the DOM API, AJAX programming, Webpack, Grunt, and Gulp.
- Experience with cross-browser debugging and unit, integration, and performance testing of web applications and mobile websites.
- Experience with open-source technologies and engaging with the community.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Familiarity with Scrum or similar agile methodology.
- BS or MS in Computer Science, or equivalent experience.
