Responsibilities
- Write, review, and own production-quality software as a hands-on contributor.
- Contribute to team and system architecture, technical decisions, Architecture Decision Records, and evolutionary architecture.
- Break complex technical work into deliverable increments, remove blockers, escalate risks, and support delivery commitments.
- Collaborate with QAs, product owners, architects, designers, program management, and other stakeholders.
- Champion AI-first software delivery approaches and use AI tools and frameworks to improve development efficiency and decision-making.
- Advocate for CI/CD, Infrastructure as Code, test coverage, refactoring, technical debt reduction, monitoring, logging, alerting, and security-by-design.
- Design and implement infrastructure automation and deployment processes in collaboration with platform teams.
- Promote TDD, BDD, automated testing, pair programming, continuous integration, and responsible data and infrastructure handling.
- Communicate technical concepts, risks, progress, and decisions to technical and non-technical audiences.
Requirements
- At least 3 years of professional software development experience.
- Deep expertise in at least one modern programming language, including JavaScript or Java, with strong frontend and backend framework knowledge.
- Strong understanding of software architecture, design patterns, and principles.
- Experience with AI tools, frameworks, and platforms applied to software delivery.
- Experience with cloud platforms, especially AWS, plus Docker and Kubernetes.
- Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines and automated testing frameworks.
- Familiarity with SQL and NoSQL databases and data modelling.
- Fluency with XP practices including TDD, pair programming, continuous integration, and refactoring.
- Working knowledge of security principles including secrets management and least privilege.
- Must have the right to work and live in India and be within commuting distance of the Bengaluru office.
