Base Salary
$183k - $248k/yr
Responsibilities
- Analyze security events, separate immediate fixes from systemic trends, and prioritize work based on threat severity and business impact.
- Drive security fixes to closure by assigning ownership and creating mechanisms to track outcomes across teams.
- Lead time-boxed Find and Fix missions to investigate emerging security trends and validate underlying problems.
- Own end-to-end security initiatives using centralized, secure-by-default controls to reduce organizational risk.
- Provide tier-3 incident escalation support, advise partner teams, and advocate for detection mechanisms and testing tools.
- Evaluate security posture, hunt for gaps before exploitation, and use automation to scale security operations.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
- 5+ years of combined experience in areas including application security frameworks, identity and access controls, incident response, mobile security, cloud computing and security, AI security, threat intelligence, or penetration testing.
- 3+ years of experience with cloud-based solutions such as AWS or equivalent, systems, networks, and operating systems.
- 5+ years of driving cross-organizational security initiatives.
- 2+ years of experience using AI to automate security.
- U.S. citizenship is required to access AWS GovCloud.
- Preferred experience includes threat hunting, detection engineering, product or application security, security risk identification, mitigation planning, and end-to-end remediation ownership.
