Product Security Senior - Core Platform Security Team

Responsibilities
- Own security assurance for backend integration areas, event pathways, connectors, service-to-service connectivity, and APIs.
- Lead threat modeling and security design reviews to identify concrete risks and drive root-cause remediation.
- Secure service-to-service authentication, external client applications, agent integrations, and Model Context Protocol connectors.
- Review Java and other source code to identify authentication, integration, authorization, and access-control vulnerabilities.
- Develop secure-by-default patterns, partner with architects and engineering teams, and coach junior security engineers.
Requirements
- 5+ years of product, application, or platform security experience operating independently on moderately to highly complex problems.
- Hands-on experience securing backend, integration, or service-connectivity systems, with deep API security and secure code review expertise.
- Advanced knowledge of authorization, permission and scope models, and service-to-service authentication.
- Working familiarity with OAuth 2.0, OpenID Connect, and JSON Web Tokens.
- Ability to review Java and at least one of JavaScript/TypeScript, Python, or Go, including large or legacy codebases.
- Preferred experience includes eventing, messaging, integration, or API platforms at scale; connector, agent, or MCP security; multi-tenant SaaS backend security; and embedded product security expertise.
