Lead Forward Deployed Engineer
InformaticaResponsibilities
- Own the architecture, build, deployment, and production handoff of agentic AI solutions for strategic enterprise customers.
- Design and ship Agentforce systems using agent logic, tool calls, multi-agent orchestration, deterministic guardrails, and enterprise integration patterns.
- Own data modeling, processing pipelines, and data readiness across Salesforce Data 360, Snowflake, Databricks, and customer platforms.
- Resolve complex data integration, model deployment, orchestration, and performance issues.
- Build and maintain agent performance dashboards and customer KPI reporting.
- Develop proofs of concept, MVPs, reusable assets, internal frameworks, reference implementations, and deployment playbooks.
- Mentor engineers through code reviews, pair sessions, and shared codebase work.
- Provide technical leadership on strategically critical or at-risk customer deployments.
- Translate customer business challenges into agentic AI solutions with the Deployment Strategist.
- Surface customer and field insights to Salesforce Product and Engineering teams to influence the Agentforce roadmap.
Requirements
- 6+ years of software engineering or technical delivery experience with end-to-end ownership of scalable production systems in enterprise AI, cloud, or SaaS environments.
- Computer Science or related degree.
- Expertise in at least one of Python, JavaScript/TypeScript, Java, or Apex, with familiarity with the others.
- Production experience integrating LLMs, using frameworks such as LangChain or LlamaIndex, and applying prompt engineering and responsible AI practices.
- Deep experience in data modeling, processing, and analytics, with proficiency in Salesforce Data 360, Snowflake, or Databricks.
- Deep Salesforce platform expertise including Agentforce, Apex, LWC, Flows, and Salesforce APIs.
- Experience mentoring technical talent and creating reusable frameworks, playbooks, or internal tooling.
- Ability to communicate credibly with engineers, customer architects, and executive stakeholders.
- Ability to travel to customer sites as needed.
- Business-level proficiency in Italian and English.
- Preferred: Salesforce certifications including Administrator, Platform Developer I/II, Agentforce Specialist, or System Architect.
- Preferred: familiarity with DevOps/CI-CD practices, observability tooling, or data governance frameworks.
- Preferred: experience architecting multi-cloud, multi-system enterprise AI solutions for Global 500 customers.
- Preferred: field engineering influence on enterprise software product roadmaps, open-source contributions, technical writing, or conference presentations.

- The position offers a base salary of EUR 70,425 to EUR 94,200 annually, plus potential incentive benefits tailored by grade level.
