Base Salary

Responsibilities
- Design and implement end-to-end security architectures for ground-based C2 systems and Space Based Interceptors.
- Architect and deploy NSA Type 1 cryptographic solutions for classified communications.
- Develop comprehensive threat models for C2 and Space Based Interceptors defense systems.
- Ensure security architectures enable effective monitoring and incident response.
- Design, develop, and maintain secure cloud-native applications aligned with NIST SP 800-53.
- Implement security controls in application code to minimize RMF findings.
- Lead system architectures to achieve and sustain ATOs in cloud environments.
- Support all RMF Steps 1–6, focusing on control implementation and assessment preparation.
- Ensure compliance with NIST 800-53 and other applicable frameworks.
- Contribute to security artifacts and serve as a technical voice during ATO activities.
Requirements
- 10+ years of experience in security architecture, engineering, or software development.
- Active SECRET clearance required; TS/SCI strongly preferred.
- Experience implementing NSA Type 1 cryptographic solutions.
- Proven expertise with RMF processes and achieving ATOs for complex systems.
- Strong knowledge of NIST SP 800-53 security controls.
- Hands-on experience implementing STIGs at various levels.
- Proficiency in at least one modern programming language.
- Experience architecting security for systems combining hardware and software.
- Deep knowledge of cryptographic protocols and secure communications.
- Excellent communication skills for articulating security requirements.
