Responsibilities
- Build and ship developer-facing dashboards, billing UIs, documentation platforms, and other product features.
- Own features from concept and implementation through production monitoring and post-release quality.
- Propose solutions to customer problems rather than waiting for a predefined roadmap.
- Work across the frontend and backend using React, TypeScript, Ruby on Rails, Node.js, and PostgreSQL.
- Use AI coding assistants for planning, prototyping, and iteration while maintaining correctness and quality.
- Communicate proactively, provide realistic estimates, meet commitments, and flag timeline risks early.
Requirements
- Strong fullstack development skills with Ruby on Rails and React.
- Experience working with TypeScript, including frontend development and Node.js services.
- Ability to work independently in ambiguous situations and drive solutions with minimal hand-holding.
- Strong ownership of the complete feature lifecycle and production outcomes.
- Empathy for developers and a demonstrated focus on developer experience.
- Fluent use of AI coding assistants with accountability for the quality of shipped work.
- Design and UX intuition, including the ability to identify and challenge poor user flows.
- Preferred: experience building developer-first products or B2D platforms.
- Preferred: experience with product-led growth products.
- Preferred: background in real-time, messaging, or infrastructure-adjacent products.
