Responsibilities
- Analyze, design, and develop tests and robust new software features.
- Provide maintenance, support, and enhancements for existing and new systems and platforms.
- Collaborate with data scientists, business users, project managers, and other engineers.
- Recommend continuous improvements and apply engineering best practices.
- Support other engineers and contribute to hiring and improving the technical assessment process.
Requirements
- Experience with Smalltalk or software engineering in the life insurance sector is required.
- Hands-on experience with relevant technologies and automated testing frameworks is required.
- Strong analytical, communication, teamwork, and prioritization skills are required.
- Experience with test-driven development and Scrum/Agile development methodologies is required.
- Ability to manage multiple competing priorities with limited supervision is required.
- A master’s degree in engineering, PhD in science, or equivalent experience is required.
- Fluent English is required; French or Italian is a plus.
