Responsibilities
- Support customers and provide guidance to resolve urgent issues.
- Debug, modify, and ship software fixes and updates using ROS2, C++, and Python.
- Evaluate logs and incident data, triage bugs and feature requests, and escalate issues to the appropriate engineering teams.
- Design software and hardware solutions for customer needs and collaborate on robotics challenges.
- Create and maintain SOPs, runbooks, and troubleshooting guides.
- Train field operations staff, customer operators, and dealer technicians.
- Travel to customer sites as needed for difficult problems and high-stakes deployments.
Requirements
- Bachelor of Science degree in a related field.
- Experience with real production robots used by customers.
- Familiarity with software development best practices.
- Ability to read and modify Python and C++.
- Experience debugging problems outside one's primary area of expertise.
- Comfort working in a Linux environment.
- Preferred experience across applied robotics and software engineering, agricultural robotics, wiring and electrical diagrams, RTK/GNSS, CAN, or serial communication frameworks.
