Responsibilities
- Engineer full-stack automated quality across multiple AI delivery pods.
- Design, build, and maintain automated test frameworks for web UI, backend services, APIs, asynchronous workflows, and AI/LLM-backed integrations.
- Write and maintain test code using software engineering best practices and reduce reliance on manual testing.
- Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines and support build-time, deploy-time, and post-deployment quality checks.
- Build test harnesses to validate AI-service contracts, error handling, fallbacks, integration behavior, and regression risks.
- Use mocks, stubs, thresholds, and regression strategies to manage nondeterministic AI systems.
- Participate in refinement, design, and architecture discussions to promote testable-by-design solutions and identify risks early.
- Contribute to release readiness, go-live validation, root-cause analysis, reusable testing patterns, and continuous improvement of QA tooling and frameworks.
Requirements
- 4–7 years of experience in SDET, test engineering, or automation-focused QA roles.
- Strong coding skills in TypeScript or JavaScript and/or Python.
- Hands-on experience with Playwright, Cypress, Selenium, Jest, Mocha, or PyTest.
- Strong experience testing web applications, APIs, and distributed systems.
- Experience integrating automated tests into CI/CD pipelines using tools such as GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, or Azure DevOps.
- Experience working with cloud-native systems such as AWS or Azure.
- Understanding of modern software engineering and delivery practices and experience in Agile delivery environments.
- Ability to work independently across multiple teams, manage competing priorities, and collaborate effectively.
- Preferred experience testing AI-enabled or LLM-backed systems, API-based LLM integrations, RAG-style architectures, or workflow- and agent-based systems.
- Preferred familiarity with Docker and Kubernetes, non-functional testing, performance, resilience and security testing, observability, monitoring, and post-deployment validation.
