Responsibilities
- Work with developers, product, and business stakeholders to understand requirements and acceptance criteria.
- Define and implement shift-left test strategies.
- Design, build, and maintain automated integration, regression, API, UI, and data-validation coverage.
- Identify manual-testing needs and ensure appropriate coverage.
- Improve code quality, unit-test coverage, acceptance criteria, and CI/CD quality practices with developers.
- Troubleshoot test failures, investigate defects, support root-cause analysis, and report quality trends.
- Contribute to continuous improvement in engineering and testing practices within a cross-functional agile squad.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of experience in test automation and quality assurance within agile product teams.
- Strong knowledge of test engineering and quality assurance practices, API testing, automation frameworks, CI/CD and DevOps practices.
- Proficiency in TypeScript and Playwright.
- Familiarity with Cypress and experience working with MongoDB.
- Good understanding of GitHub and collaborative development workflows.
- Strong communication, ownership, proactive working style, and experience across varied technologies, languages, and platforms.
