Responsibilities
- Drive end-to-end architecture for enterprise Pega solutions aligned with standards for robustness, scalability, and maintainability.
- Plan and oversee Pega upgrades, including impact analysis, upgrade strategies, validation, remediation, regression risk management, and stabilization.
- Design reusable Pega frameworks, rulesets, application structures, and reference implementations across applications and product lines.
- Provide technical direction for Pega platform administration, access control, security models, performance tuning, and environment configuration.
- Review Pega application designs, rule structures, implementations, and code for best-practice and guardrail compliance.
- Define Pega data models and integration patterns using connectors, services, APIs, messaging, and batch interfaces.
- Design Pega case types, stages, routing, and processes for Customer Lifecycle Management and other complex operational journeys.
- Establish monitoring, logging, availability, and incident-response approaches in coordination with operations and support teams.
- Mentor engineering teams and communicate architectural decisions to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Requirements
- 10–12 years of overall technology experience with significant experience in Pega architecture and complex enterprise implementations.
- Deep expertise in Pega upgrade projects, including planning, rule refactoring, regression risk management, and post-upgrade stabilization.
- Strong hands-on experience with Pega frameworks and rule reuse strategies.
- Advanced proficiency in Pega platform administration, access control, performance optimization, and environment configuration.
- Practical Pega application development experience focused on guardrail compliance, modular design, and maintainability.
- Understanding of Pega data and integration capabilities, including connectors, services, and data pages.
- Proven Pega case-management experience designing case structures, stages, and routing.
- Exposure to check processing or related financial operations is preferred.
- Strong communication and stakeholder-engagement skills.
