Base Salary
$137k - $244k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and implement Kubernetes platform solutions, infrastructure automation, CI/CD pipelines, and observability tools.
- Build and maintain highly available, scalable, and secure platform components.
- Automate infrastructure provisioning, configuration management, and application deployments using Terraform and Argo CD.
- Improve monitoring, alerting, and tracing for internal and production services.
- Provide platform troubleshooting and support in collaboration with development teams.
- Enhance and maintain secure Prism Analytics environments for Workday Federal deployments.
- Participate in and facilitate production on-call duties and reliability events.
- Implement security best practices and maintain compliance with applicable standards.
- Document platform components and processes and share knowledge across the team.
- Collaborate with engineers, development teams, and stakeholders across locations and time zones.
Requirements
- 5+ years of hands-on infrastructure experience in on-premises or cloud-based environments, including systems architecture, networking, and security.
- Strong understanding of Kubernetes concepts, architecture, and administration.
- Bachelor's degree in a computer-related field or equivalent work experience.
- Proficiency with infrastructure automation tools such as Terraform.
- Experience building or maintaining CI/CD pipelines and tools such as Argo CD.
- At least 3 years of production experience with AWS cloud services.
- Proficiency in at least one programming language, preferably Go or Python.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills.
- Experience with Prometheus and Grafana is preferred.
- Experience with security auditing, compliance frameworks, Apache Spark, Docker, and Kubernetes is preferred.
- Must be a United States citizen due to federal contract security requirements.
- Must be able to obtain and maintain a U.S. government security clearance; active TS/SCI with CI Poly is preferred.
