Base Salary

$87k - $165k/yr

Responsibilities

  • Work with a small team on AI-based planning and scheduling or compiler and operating-system research and development projects.
  • Design and develop prototype software using open-source technologies.
  • Incorporate feedback from end users, field tests, and exercises.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to explore technical possibilities and deliver practical solutions to complex problems.
  • Transition prototype technologies to operational use.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a relevant field plus five years of related experience; or a master's degree plus three years of experience; or a PhD.
  • Experience with Java and/or C, Linux, computer networking, and cloud integration.
  • Experience with distributed systems, middleware, and AI.
  • An active and existing DoD Secret security clearance is required after day one, along with U.S. citizenship or qualifying U.S. person status.
  • Strong creative problem-solving, experimental design, communication, teamwork, and self-directed work skills are preferred.
