Responsibilities
- Maintain and enhance platform configuration and implement small functional changes using C# and related technologies.
- Support real-time and historical market data pipelines for high availability and performance.
- Use Jenkins, GitHub, and UrbanCode to improve build, deployment, and automation workflows.
- Troubleshoot and resolve platform issues while addressing front-office requirements.
- Improve monitoring, alerting, and observability using Splunk and Dynatrace.
- Analyze system design impacts on scalability, resilience, and supportability.
- Collaborate with development squads, the Product Owner, Markets stakeholders, and a cross-functional engineering team.
Requirements
- At least 4 years of experience.
- Strong production or support experience with C#/.NET.
- Solid understanding of market data concepts, including pricing, reference data, real-time feeds, and tick data.
- Prior front-office application support experience in a financial markets environment.
- Hands-on experience with monitoring and operational tooling such as Splunk and Dynatrace.
- Knowledge of cloud-hosted or virtualized systems, such as VMware.
- Understanding of the software delivery lifecycle from design and build through production operations.
- Strong communication, stakeholder-management, problem-solving, and collaborative engineering skills.
- Experience with OneTick is advantageous.
- Exposure to Bloomberg Data License, Refinitiv TREP, or other market data vendor technologies is advantageous.
- Familiarity with market data processes across Trading, Risk, or Pricing is advantageous.
