Responsibilities

Define software requirements and prepare Software Requirements Specifications for aircraft engineering and logistics support systems.
Develop software by independently generating source code and defining development guidelines for other developers.
Integrate third-party software components.
Define and optimize software design and coding environments, including client/server resource allocation, license management, and virtual test environments.
Maintain and update the software development toolchain and configuration control of software builds throughout development and release.
Define software testing strategies using automated testing tools.
Conduct software tests and report progress, issues, and proposed recovery actions.
Coordinate with the software team lead, product manager, system specialists, and administrators while working toward time, cost, and quality objectives.

Bachelor's degree in Electronic Engineering, Computer Engineering, Informatics, or a related stated field.
Junior-level profile with two years of experience in software development for avionics ground systems in a product-development environment.
Experience developing software with .NET and proficiency in C#, C++, Sensetalk, and Python.
Experience with IBM DOORS, Rational Publishing Engine, IBM EWM, Keysight Eggplant Functional Studio, Microsoft Visual Studio, ReSharper DOT Ultimate, SQL Developer, Git, and VS Code.
Knowledge of interfacing with major database management systems such as Oracle.
Experience with web-based and on-premise application architectures and Microsoft operating systems.
Knowledge of avionics and general systems for aircraft maintenance is preferred.
Ability to identify software production improvements through technology scouting is preferred.
B2-level or higher written and spoken English proficiency.
Availability for short business trips.
