Responsibilities
- Analyze requirements for software applications used by Test Engineers to manage and analyze test data.
- Define software application designs from requirements while maintaining traceability and alignment with the project software architecture.
- Improve software design, coding, and testing environments in collaboration with specialists and system administrators.
- Develop integrated software within an agile development process and support automated release build pipelines.
- Support software verification and testing, including expanded use of automated testing tools and maintenance of test procedures.
Requirements
- Bachelor-level or five-year degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or another field applicable to data analysis profiles, or at least two years of software development experience.
- Junior-level experience with basic knowledge of C, C++, Python, Java, MATLAB, and Microsoft Visual Studio.
- Experience interfacing with Oracle, SQL Server, and MySQL DBMS platforms and using SQL.
- Knowledge of desktop-client and on-premise application architectures, Microsoft and Linux operating systems, and requirements-traceability and software-design tools.
- Good written and spoken English at B2 level or higher, willingness to take short business trips, and strong teamwork, organization, planning, problem-solving, learning, and results-orientation skills.
- Preferred qualifications include knowledge of AQAP, MIL, FAA, and EASA design standards or certifications and avionics systems for flight-data acquisition and recording.
