Base Salary
$180k - $240k/yr
Responsibilities
- Build, maintain, and scale infrastructure for applications using Terraform.
- Spearhead system performance improvements and optimize resource utilization.
- Design and implement comprehensive monitoring, logging, and tracing frameworks.
- Integrate AI into the observability stack for predictive alerting and automated anomaly detection.
- Leverage AI tools to accelerate Infrastructure as Code development and streamline automation.
- Improve overall infrastructure quality, developer tooling, and CI/CD processes.
- Collaborate with backend and frontend teams to streamline deployments and operations.
- Ensure infrastructure compliance with SOC2, GDPR, and CCPA.
Requirements
- Deep understanding of Linux and networking with strong troubleshooting skills.
- Proven expertise with Terraform, AWS, and Git.
- Experience with observability tools like Datadog, Prometheus, and Grafana.
- Track record of improving system performance at scale.
- Proficiency or eagerness to use AI-driven development tools.
- Familiarity with GitHub Actions and Terraform Cloud is a plus.
- Demonstrated ownership and responsibility for problem resolution.
- Excellent English communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Collaborative mindset and team-oriented approach.
- Knowledge of backend frameworks like Ruby on Rails or Django is a plus.
