Base Salary

Responsibilities
- Design, build, and improve detection and response workflows for the Wirespeed Verdict Engine.
- Own complex threat detection and workflow problem areas from concept through implementation.
- Translate investigative thinking into scalable detections and automated decisions.
- Analyze operational data to identify and improve false positives and latency issues.
- Continuously enhance system autonomy while maintaining service quality.
- Support complex cases and integrate lessons learned back into the system.
- Ensure customer experience is prioritized in Wirespeed outputs.
- Identify customer pain points to improve product behavior.
- Collaborate with product, engineering, and security teams to enhance capabilities.
- Define best practices and document workflow logic for team knowledge sharing.
- Provide technical leadership and mentorship to less experienced teammates.
Requirements
- Significant experience in cybersecurity operations such as threat detection and response.
- Ability to identify repeatable patterns and scale judgment through automation.
- Strong investigative and analytical skills for practical detection logic development.
- Experience with building and maintaining security automation and detection tools.
- Demonstrated ability to independently manage complex technical problems.
- Interest in improving workflows rather than just executing tasks.
- Strong communication skills for documenting logic and explaining threats.
- Comfort using data to evaluate detection quality and workflow performance.
- Preference for simple, scalable solutions and reducing complexity.
