Base Salary
$168k - $252k/yr
Responsibilities
- Build agents and applications on AI Gateway and Sandbox and create demos, templates, and open-source projects.
- Teach developers through writing, talks, videos, live coding, documentation, and canonical examples.
- Participate in product planning with product managers and engineers and identify product rough edges before launch.
- Own launch materials and early developer support, including example repositories, demos, documentation contributions, and initial answers to developer questions.
- Monitor how developers build agents, identify ecosystem obstacles, and communicate unmet needs to product teams.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in engineering, developer relations, or developer experience roles, with software that can be demonstrated.
- Experience building and shipping AI applications or agents, including familiarity with tool calling, model routing, and sandboxed code execution.
- Strong TypeScript skills and familiarity with the Next.js and AI SDK ecosystems.
- A public body of work such as talks, posts, open-source projects, or videos.
- Ability to turn an unfinished API into a working demo and clear explanation quickly.
- Experience influencing a product roadmap through developer feedback.
- A link to a developer-education work sample is required with the application.
- Maintaining or contributing to an open-source project, experience with microVMs and agent isolation, and having shipped something on Vercel with AI SDK are preferred.
