Responsibilities
- Build and test robotics navigation, safety, control, and sequencing systems.
- Triage, reproduce, and resolve robotics system issues observed in the field.
- Occasionally travel to customer sites to observe and refine robotics systems.
- Write tested, hardened, and safe code.
- Design and build the vehicle platform for autonomous tractors and other agricultural equipment.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, robotics, or a related field.
- 6+ years of experience building robotics or other real-time computer applications.
- Mastery of Python or C++.
- Mastery of ROS/ROS2.
- Experience working with geospatial data.
- Experience integrating perception or vision systems.
- Strong quantitative, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities with an organized and disciplined approach.
- Ability or willingness to learn to drive tractors and other four-wheeled equipment.
